BT offered 1,500 work experience placements in last year
BT have announced that they have hosted 1,500 work experience placements over the last year.
The telecommunications company increased its work experience programme at the end of 2009 as part of Business in the Community's "work inspiration" campaign, which aimed to improve placements for half a million young people a year.
The now aim to have offered 3,000 placements by the end of May 2011.
BT Chairman, Sir Mike Rake, said: "Work placements can help young people decide where their future lies. We do this because it is good for our business, it is good for our employees and it is good for our business, it is good for our employees and it is good for young people."
The role includes maintaining direct communication with clients concerning email broadcast and strategy, managing daily email campaigns, offering technical support and advice on email creative, etc
