Placement students entering this function will work with our customers, suppliers and representatives of other functions to help develop our products and processes to ensure the metal we produce is consistently of the highest quality. The work is varied, involving plant operation and development, plant process chemistry and metallurgy and quality assurance. Our aim is to give the customer the right material for the job and, in the long term, to ensure that technical innovations maintain our products’ competitive edge.

Corus Construction & Industrial is based in Scunthorpe and we are recruiting 15 Metallurgy Summer Placement Students on track to achieve at least a 2:2 degree.
