Internships for first year students

If you’re a first year student looking for an introduction to financial services, our Easter Insight programme will offer you an opportunity to experience our business first hand.

Our one week ‘taster’ programme is a chance for students to build their knowledge of what we can offer and gain vital work experience. You don’t need any prior knowledge of the finance industry; in fact, we encourage students from all academic backgrounds to apply.

The programme, which takes place over the Easter break, includes induction and technical training as well as rotations on various desks within your chosen business division. You will also get the chance to attend various networking events, engage with senior executives and build invaluable business relationships.

We’ll also involve you in assessment tasks, most likely an interview and presentation to assess whether you are suitable for a position on our summer internship programme. In fact, 70% of our interns last year were offered places on one of our summer internships this year so it’s a great head start.
