Internships for penultimate year students

The aim of our summer internship programme is to provide you with a unique insight into the variety of opportunities within RBS as well as experience our culture and our people. Throughout the ten week programme, you will receive relevant technical training and be expected to attend numerous networking events with current graduates, senior managers and the graduate team.

The rotational nature of the internship programme will allow you to gain full exposure to all areas within your chosen business division, whilst giving you a broader understanding of the wider RBS offering.

After a one-week orientation, when you will learn market basics and meet your new colleagues, you will spend the remaining nine weeks learning from leading banking professionals and gaining hands-on experience. We’ll also assign you a buddy and a mentor to guide you throughout the ten weeks.

To ensure you know how well you’re doing, we’ll give you ongoing feedback on your performance throughout your time at RBS. If you are successful during your ten weeks with us and we think you could be part of our future, we’ll offer you a place on the 2013 Graduate Analyst Programme.
