The Programme:

Retail Banking describes the network of over 1300 branches across the UK that provides Santander with the most direct channel of contact with our customers. During your internship, which will take place across 7 different divisions nationwide, you will understand how a branch operates, and experience at first hand many of the key customer sales and service roles.

You will also begin to understand how we advise customers about our products and services and give them the guidance they need in order to satisfy all their financial services requirements. In doing so, you'll have the opportunity to use all your communication skills and help deliver exceptional customer service.

What you need:

As well as a desire to work in the banking sector you’ll need at least 280 UCAS points and a predicted 2:1 in your chosen degree. Our schemes are extremely popular so the ability to demonstrate a commitment to extra-curricular activities, and ideally a position of responsibility like society chairman or team captain, will help you stand out.
