This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to gain experience within this diverse and dynamic national initiative.

We are looking for two high quality Work Placement Students to join the existing Information Systems (IS) team at the Leeds office of the NIHR IS Programme. The team provides in-house systems development and support for the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) working on developing and maintaining a set of applications that support health research.

This post is suitable for students currently completing a first degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Information Systems, Computing). Work experience will be provided across the full lifecycle of development, delivery and support of applications.

Both placements are available from 1st September 2009 for a fixed-term of 12 months.

Salary: Grade 3 (£14,867 - £16,547 p.a.)
